| CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL: | ||||
Mayor Emmet D. Embody called the meeting of the Cut Bank City Council to order at Noon, Monday, August 9, 2010. The following council members answered roll call: Tim Curtiss, Kelly Solberg, Tom Shock and William McCauley. City Clerk-Treasurer Diana Filban, City Superintendent James Suta, Chief of Police Jeff Kraft and City Attorney Bob Smith were also in attendance. All present stood and recited the Pledge of Allegiance. |

| PUBLIC HEARING – BUDGET AMENDMENTS FOR FYE 6/30/10: | ||||
| City Attorney Smith called the public hearing to order. City Clerk-Treasurer Filban was sworn in to give testimony. City Attorney Smith asked if this public hearing had been advertised as required by state code and whether an affidavit of publication had been received. Clerk-Treasurer Filban answered yes the hearing had been advertised and she had an affidavit of publication. City Attorney Smith announced this hearing was regarding amendments to the budget for the addition of funds from the Department of Commerce to refurbish the Animal Control Shelter and to recognize extra funds received from the Department of Transportation for supplies and maintenance at the Main Street Rest Area. City Attorney Smith asked if there were any public comment twice. Being no public comment, the public hearing was closed. | ||||

| NEW BUSINESS: | ||||
Councilperson McCauley made a motion to approve Resolution 10-10: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUT BANK, MONTANA, ADOPTING AND APPROVING BUDGET AMENDMENTS TO THE CITY OF CUT BANK’S 2009-2010 BUDGET CONCERNING AN INCREASE IN REVENUE AND AN INCREASE IN EXPENDITURES FOR THE ANIMAL CONTROL SHELTER AND CITY REST AREA. Councilperson Shock made the second motion. The motion passed 4-0. |

| There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilperson Curtiss moved to adjourn the meeting at 12:58 PM. Councilperson Solberg made the second motion. The motion carried 4-0. | ||||
