Call Meeting to Order/Roll Call/Pledge: Park Advisory
Board Vice Chairperson Patrick Montalban called the regular session of
the Park Advisory Board to order at 6:35 PM. Present were PAB members

Visitors: Dalyn Bunting presented a written plan of the expansion of the horseshoe pits along with a materials list and expenses. The cost should be minimal. Doug said to ask Jim about getting the dirt. Gail volunteered Gary Quenzer to cut the sod. |
||||
Additions to the Agenda for Discussion Purposes Only: There was some discussion about the community garden. MMIA will cover the insurance when the project is complete, and it must be a non profit project. The city will donate the water. There was also some discussion about the overpass. They got farther along on the project than they thought, and will finish in the spring. |
||||
Approval of Minutes: Doug made the motion to approve the May 17, 2011; and the October 18, 2011 minutes ~ Patrick seconded. Motion carried with all in favor and none opposed. |
||||
Recreation Director’s Report: Some of the skylights at the Civic Center are leaking and need to be sealed. Rod mentioned that he wrote a letter of support for the ‘Safe Routes to School’ grant that Jennifer and Tina Voise are working on. Doug said that he also signed one that Jennifer had written up. |
||||
Superintendent’s Report: The dog park fencing has been purchased for $6900.00 and the holes for the posts have been dug. The state restrooms have been closed for the winter. |

Financial Statement Review: NONE |

Unfinished Business: Doug added to the update on the Dog Park. The posts are in the holes and they are waiting for a nice day to set them with cement. The park should be complete in the Spring. |

New Business: Patrick Montalban said that he would stay as the Vice Chairperson for the Park Advisory Board. Doug made the motion to nominate Rod Cline as the Park Advisory Board Chairperson ~ Gail seconded. Motion carried with all in favor and none opposed. |
