Missi
The evening we returned from Cut Bank, Montana. She traveled to our home just fine. As you know, we stopped at vet's and she is now current on all of her shots. last Sunday after her hair cut at Petco. Missi was not a happy camper. I am not looking forward to the next time, maybe I will have to learn how to do it myself. Any way to make a long story short, she is doing wonderful. Sits and stays when we tell her to. She is BOB'S DOG THO, he is thrilled. Thank you so much. Joyce and Bob |

a close watch of her. pretty good huh? She is getting better all the

Hope you like the pics of Maddie and her new brother, Scoutie, and will keep in touch. Margaret and Wayne This is a quick update from Maddie!! She is doing well, other than we are treating her for a yeast infection in her ear, but that doesn't slow her down one bit!! Enclosed is a new picture of her up camping last week. | Sparky (now Sadie)
Shelter Note: Sadie was abandoned as
an elderly dog in need of extensive dental work, which we were not
able to afford. She was adopted to an extremely loving family. Here
is their email update to us.
From Sadie's new Mom: Just wanted to let you know that Sadie and I came home today after 2 1/2 days at the Vets. She got her vaccinations and they did a dental. Unfortunately, her dental disease was very advanced and has advanced to the bone on both her upper and lower jaws. All of her remaining teeth were removed along with a tumor on the gumline. She is on antibiotics for two weeks. She should
recover alright though he thinks as long as the heart is not affected.
From his examination she did not seem to have any heart damage as
yet, but with the blood and infection being released from the teeth
extractions he is a little worried. Hopefully though, everything will
be better for her now. The bad odor from her mouth is gone and the
poor little sweetie will be on soft food forever. I was just glad
to know she survived it all and already she looks better.
Just an update on her. As soon as she gets to feeling better I will try to get some pictures back to you. Thanks for everything. Judy Sadie has totally adjusted our home and seems to be comfortable and happy. Sadie and Shasta have adjusted well to each other and now play together and sleep curled up together on our bed on her own blanket. Sadie wears her dog tags which have her name, my name, address and phone number plus her rabies vaccination tag. It has been a sad challenge with her lack of teeth, but otherwise she has become totally healthy and happy and loved. She is eating Solid Gold canned dog food-Green Cow and Ocean Fish and Turkey along with nutritional supplements from Solid Gold (Life Extension, Sea Meal and Gold Yucca). I appreciate the support we have received from you since the adoption. Judy |
