She has been keeping us very busy! She was great on the ride home- she slept in her crate almost the whole way. She has been coming out of her shell little by little and she never fails to entertain us. She has such a big personality. She has been exposed to many new things- the beach, a lake, hiking, going to the vet with me, at work with todd, many new dog friends. She has done great in every new enviroment. Attached are some new pic's. She is growing so fast! Jenny and Todd

Yogo is settling in rather well, I believe... She has definitely decided she is the Princess of the house. Jere

Robin (now Ruby)

Ruby is a wonderful dog! She gets lots of attention, is walked twice daily, loves her big back yard, and is spoiled, she gets lots of toys, her favorite is her large hedgehog that squeeks. She has learned new tricks, sit, shake, laydown, speak, and is learning to stay. She loves to ride in our vehicle and goes with Dale and I. We are planning a trip to Anaconda where Dale is from, in July, and Ruby is going with us:). Ruby is up to date now on her shots and next month she gets spayed. Thanks for allowing us to have Ruby !!! :) Bonnie

Ruby has been spayed and is licensed :) so she is now an "official member of the community." lol She is very, very intelligent and she listens well ....We love her very much ... She is a good dog .... We take her with us on trips to the store or just to go for a ride. (She's spoiled and loves to travel. She has many toys and chew bones. She loves to play fetch, also). She went with us to Glacier Park, and many people commented on how well she behaved and how beautiful she is... She even let people pet her and loved the children. :) I would like to thank Joe for allowing her to be in our lives ... Thank you Joe. Ruby is the best dog we ever have had. You trained her well, and she listens to us :) You care about the animals as I have seen you pick them up on a call. Once, I saw you get a dog that was scared at the high school you spent time rubbing its belly and talking to the dog. You fed it a treat and spent time to calm it down, BEFORE putting it into the back of your truck. And when you put the dog back there, it was very carefully. I was very impressed how patient and caring you are .... Cut Bank is very lucky to have an Animal Control Officer who truly cares and loves animals!

Little Rocky (now Savannah)

Savannah is doing great. She is house trained, with occassional accidents during the night. She gets along well with my three kids, ages 10, 7 and almost 2. She plays outdoors in our yard on and off all day long. She also runs with the kids while they are bike riding. She is scheduled to get her shots this week. The $67 it costs to get her fully vaccinated had to be saved for first. She is not old enough yet to be spayed, but I plan on having it done as soon as she is. She likes to chew on everything, but will accept her chew toys as a replacement for shoes or whatever. She eats three to four times a day, Purina Puppy Chow and drinks plenty of water. Thank you for everything. I will send a pic as soon as I get them back. Jennifer

Scruffy, now Osa

Hi Tina and Joe, We wanted you to say thanks again for placing Scruffy with our family. Kaitlyn named her Osa on the way home Thursday night. She is doing really good and we adore her. She is mostly very relaxed, but still playful, and loves to run and play outside with us. The kids are doing really good with her, and she is very tolerant with them as well. She is very good in the house. She is a sweet and happy little dog. We are so glad we have her and she brings a lot of joy to our family. Thank you again! We hope that both of you are doing well. Have a safe and happy spring! The Howell family

Hello Joe and Tina, Sorry I am just getting back to you. It has been a busy fall fo our family. We adopted Scruffy back in March from your shelter, and it is going really well. We renamed her Osa the night we adopted her. At first she was quite calm, but within a few weeks her energy level perked right up. We think she is about 1-2 years old, as she still has a lot of puppy behavior. She was spayed this spring and is very healthy and doing really well. We are very happy to have her and our whole family enjoys playing with her. She is a great dog for our family, and accompanyed us on many of our summer outings, such as camping. Thanks again for helping us add to our family and we hope all is well with yours!

Cujo (now Koda)

Cujo is awesome..The kids really enjoy playing with him. He is just a great big lap dog. We now have a new "buddy" for Cujo. Friends of ours had a puppy for their children, But their son was allergic to him. So we now have Umpaloompa. Both dogs get along great. Christina

Here are some pictures of Koda(Cujo). Koda has adjusted to his new home. So far he has learned to sit and wait patiently for a treat. He loves jumping up on our bed to say goodnight. What a happy guy. He loves to be brushed after playing in the dirt hills. Thank you both for everything.

Sorry we have not sent any pictures in awhile.. Koda is a wonderful dog and full of love. Christina

Mitzi

Mitzi has been great! She's a joy to have around, for both me and the fellows. Her antics provide a lot of laughs. We all fell in love with her immediately, and she fits right in even more smoothly than I'd dared hope. The boys took to her really quickly. Check out the attached picture of her squinched into my pull-out desk keyboard tray. Whenever I'm at my desk working, there she is, on the keyboard tray, hopping up onto the printer.... she was hilariously batting some pens around last night....she's here, there, everywhere all at once, it seems. I just see a blur fly by (sometimes followed by a crash or other ruckus.) But thoroughly welcome, entertaining, enjoyable, and loved. Have had a lot of fun playing with her w/cat toys, shoestrings and things -- interacting a lot. Bringing lots of smiles. Thanks for asking, and thanks for our new little sweetie! Annie

Matias (now Nala)

hi joe and tina!
i was just writing you to update you on nala. my yellow lab mix we adopted from you-she is amazing. and so lovable. she is and has always been so perfect with our kids. she is 70lbs now and a happy puppy. she is so full of energy but so gentle and calm around our kids. i am so thankful i found her thru your website and met you both to adopt her. seven(my 9yr old male pit mix)loves her so much and has been alot happier since we've gotten her. anyways just had to tell you how lucky we are to have her. she was spayed in feb. and around that time her tail started to curl, like a malamute and shes getting so big so we still dont know what shes mixed with. i wonder if she will get any bigger, she is a beautiful dog. ary thinks shes still growing but i dont think shes grown in 4 weeks. we'll see. thank you so much, would love to hear back from you and see how you survived the winter. it snowed here yesterday-and a few times last month. take care, sommer

hi again,
as soon as ary gets back into town ill have him attach some photos of nala and seven to an email. im not good at that and i dont know how:). that sounds like alot of snow! more than us and we had alot! yes nala is great and very good at listening and easy to train. you hardly ever have to tell her no twice. she hasn't yet(hopefully ever) destroyed anything of ours and the biggest hole she ever dug was about 5 inches to bury a bone. we are very lucky she is very very smart. she surprises me how smart she is often. she also has only made one mistake in the house and that was the first week we brought her home. my male doesn't get along that great with other dogs but nala plays with any dog. arys parents have two malamutes and a poodle mix that she plays with alot. tell joe happy 5th anniversary for us! sommer

We have now had our new puppy, Star, a Siberian Husky/Malamute for a week now. She is loving the snow and her kids. Katie and Michael both equally love having a puppy and are doing really well with her. Michael enjoys taking her outside to go potty and play with her.
