| Tri-City
Interlocal agreement began in 1984 with the cities of Cut Bank and Conrad.
Shelby joined in the interlocal in 1990 to form the “Tri-City.”
The intent of the Agreement was to create a joint venture to acquire machinery
and equipment which is necessary for use by each of the parties in their
municipal operations. Each party invested $100,000 initially and contributes
$20,000 annually for purchase of machinery, equipment and real property.
The maintenance of the equipment is funded by the Interlocal and is dispersed
on an as needed basis determined by the Superintendents of the three cities
during their periodic meetings. |
