Mayor & City Council

Mayor’s Resume

Mayor Kim Winchell moved to Cut Bank with her family in February of 2013. It didn’t take her long to immerse herself in the community through fundraisers, boards, or food drives. She graduated from Whitefish High School, and earned her bachelor’s degree from DeVry University in Phoenix. Finding her passion working in public health, she developed and ran the breastfeeding support program for WIC at the Flathead City-County Health Department. Shortly after moving to Cut Bank, she found herself back in public health at the Glacier Community Health Center, where she works full time from home.  Kim also owns a small business, that she and her adult daughter brought to life. Today it is a growing, family run business founded in Cut Bank. Husband Donny is a Journeyman Lineman and together they have two teenage boys. They enjoy raising their kids in rural Montana.
